Famous Fido Rescue

As temporary guardians of the animals that arrive at our rescue, we must ensure that their next home will be their forever home. An animal is caused huge anxiety by being rejected and returned. Not every animal is right for every person. It’s important to consider the lifestyle of the new guardian e.g. an active person may want an active dog. They may grow frustrated with a dog that just wants to cuddle and sleep all the time.

Our organization is run almost entirely by volunteers. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated. Please do not take offence to any questions asked. You will be asked questions about the ages of household members, roommates, if you consider your area to be safe and if children will be supervised around the animal. We must ensure that these mistreated dogs and cats will be going to loving homes, with guardians who will treat them with the compassion they deserve.
